2020 People’s Choice Credit Union State Championships

Friday 13th – Sunday 15th March 2020- AIS

Online nominations are now being taken for the 2020 People’s Choice Credit Union State Championships. The Championships is being held on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March 2020 at the AIS Athletics Centre.

Entries Close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 4th March 2020. Please note NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted for this carnival. The cost to enter the Championships is $10.00 per athlete which must be paid at the time of entry. This fee is a non- refundable fee under any circumstances. The event is open to all U8 to U17 athletes currently registered with a Little Athletics ACT Centre. For athletes with a disability please see below your entry procedure.

To enter please log into your ResultsHQ/Timing Solutions account at https://www.resultshq.com.au/Login/Index/. This will be the same log in details you used to register your child and where you log in to get your weekly results (if applicable). Once you have logged in please go to the nominations tab and select the 2020 People’s Choice Credit Union State Championships event.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not pay your $10 per athlete at the time of entry the registration will not be accepted. If you do not receive an email confirming your entry you have not entered correctly and your registration will not be accepted. Please contact Timing Solutions to rectify this situation on 1300 954 487.

There is a maximum number of events each athlete can enter. This is based on their age group.
Under 8 and Under 9- Five events
Under 10 to Under 14- Six events
Under 15 to Under 17- Seven events.

Please be aware that if you have a child competing at these Championships you will be required to fill an official duty which will be allocated by your centre.

Please Note: For those U13 athletes wishing to be considered for selection in the team to attend the Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC) in April they must compete at these Championships. They also must have nominated for the team by 11:59pm on Thursday 12th March 2020 via https://www.timingsolutions.com.au/alac.

To enter into Para Events (athletes with a disability) please click here the entry form. Entries Close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 4th March 2020. Please note there will be NO LATE ENTRIES. Once you have completed and returned your form the Little Athletics ACT office will organise how the $10 entry fee is charged.

On Friday 13th March the competition will commence at 6pm with the first call for events occurring at 5:45pm. On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March the competition will commence at 9am with the first call for events occurring at 8:50am. Please click here to see the draft program. Please note that this program will be finalised after the close of entries. Please make sure you check the final program for the time of your events. This will be put on the Little Athletics ACT website- http://www.actlaa.org.au/ once entries close.

Please be advise that there are games at GIO Stadium on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. You may be required to pay $10 to park onsite and away from the normal track parking. Please allow extra time to arrive at the track on these days.

Each year items have sold out so please make sure you get in early. Sportsmagic will be at the Championships on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th near the canteen.
