The Christmas spirit was well and truly alive during the 2017 Little Athletics ACT Coles Relay Carnival held at Woden Park on Saturday.

Over 500 athletes from twelve centres participated in a variety of team based track and field events with many achieving personal bests. All centres displayed excellent team spirit and it was fantastic to see athletes make new friends in the composite teams formed between centres.

There was plenty of Christmas themed fun off the track including face painting stalls, a jumping castle and even a special visit from Santa.

Congratulations to Woden for taking out the overall point score with 852 points from Gungahlin (639) and Ginninderra (607).
